Winemakers by passion. Our values.

A history of wine and oil since 1873. Tradition and passion carried forward by four generations.

Promote the longevity of the vineyards

"...to have good wines we must work with old plants..."
We invest much of our time in the vineyard. For 4 years we have been applying the Simonit&Sirch Method, both on spurred cordon and guyot, with the aim of minimizing damage resulting from pruning, respecting the vine's natural ability to branch and keeping the structure of the lymphatic flow intact
"...selection of starting shoots to control branching..."
In spring, at the vegetative restart, we choose the shoots to channel the plant's resources and manage the branching of its structure in a controlled manner.
"...removal of decayed wood through dendrosurgery..."
The vines affected by the esca disease are operated with dendrosurgery, a technique that allows the removal of the wood affected and free the plant from toxins produced by the tinder fungus complex; this technique represents a valid alternative to eradicating the plant
 "...field grafting on wild varieties..."
We replace the dead plants by planting wild vines which, after a few years, we graft directly into the field with productive varieties.

Authentic and artisanal wines

The artisanal dimension of our products represents their added value.
We grow our vineyards and make wine from our grapes, we personally take care of the bottling and marketing.
We try to create authentic, characterful wines that tell about us and the area in which we live.

Sensitivity to the environment

We believe in a model of agriculture that is sustainable and respectful of the environment and its ecosystems. We apply the principles of integrated agriculture and where possible the principles of organic agriculture in our work.
